Telangana Police arrested businessman Kanna Rao, nephew of former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, in a land grabbing case. Seven others were also arrested. Kanna and his associates allegedly trespassed, demolished a shed, set it on fire, and assaulted caretakers. A court case is pending as both OSR Projects and the accused claim ownership of the land.

Pakistan’s Supreme Court has granted post-arrest bails to former Prime Minister Imran Khan and ex-foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi in a cipher case related to the alleged leaking of state secrets. Imran remains in jail due to another corruption case. The Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected PTI’s organisational elections and symbol plea for the upcoming general elections.
