On Thursday, the Karnataka High Court issued an order of ridding the state of ACB, which was commenced in place in 2016. Instead of the entity, Lokayukta, an Indian body placed by and for all states on sight of corruption control among political class, has been ordered to resume all the pending investigations hereon after. A bench including Justices B Veerappa and KS Hemalekha clarified on the existence of the ACB indirectly irradicating the whole enactment of the Karnataka Lokayukta.
