The government has ordered a CID probe into the exam scam at the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Over 30 accused, including the kingpin RD Patil, have been arrested. Several FIRs have been registered in connection with the scam in Yadgir and Kalaburagi. Candidates were caught using Bluetooth devices disguised as hearing aids to cheat in the competitive examinations. The case files have been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department.
