Farmers have rejected the Centre’s proposals and are planning to break the barricades at Shambhu border. Meanwhile, Haryana police Exemptee Sub-Inspector Kaushal Kumar has passed away. The farmers have gathered sand-filled sacks to clear the hurdles. Both Sanyukt Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha have declared a peaceful march to Delhi. The police have taken actions including tear gas, rubber bullets, and dyed water.

The Home Affairs department of Haryana has suspended mobile internet services, bulk SMS, and dongle services in seven districts of the state from February 11 to February 13. This decision was made in anticipation of the ‘Delhi Chalo’ march by farmers’ unions. The affected districts include Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad, and Sirsa.
