Mukhamukham, a follow-up programme to the Navakerala Sadas, will be held in Kollam on Februray 29, where Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will interact with labourers from different fields. Around 2,000 delegates will attend and 40 people will be given an opportunity to put forward suggestions.

Two construction labourers died and one was injured when a wall collapsed near Film City, Goregaon. The incident took place during cleaning activities, trapping three labourers. The injured labourer was taken to a nearby hospital and the fire brigade carried out rescue operations. The Aarey Colony Police have registered two accidental death cases.

Suspected terrorists of The Resistance Force (TRF) fatally shot a 31-year-old Sikh shopkeeper from Punjab in Srinagar. This marks the first targeted killing in 2024 and the first attack on non-Kashmiris in J&K this year. The attackers used an AK-47, raising concerns about the resurgence of targeted killings in the region.
