The Delhi High Court has issued a restraining order on Lokpal, preventing them from taking any action on a CBI report regarding two properties linked to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) until May 10. The court also issued notice to BJP MP Nishikant Dubey, who filed the complaint before Lokpal, on JMM’s petition challenging the ombudsman’s order. JMM’s counsels argued that the properties belonged to the party, not Shibu Soren, and that the Lokpal’s jurisdiction did not extend to political parties.
