A 26-year-old man named Pratap Singh Otti was arrested for the abduction and rape of a 16-year-old minor girl in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district of Chhattisgarh. The accused’s mother, who supported him, is currently at large. Otti offered the girl a lift on his bike and then took her to a nearby forest where he raped her. He then kept her confined in his home for two days, repeatedly raping her and subjecting her to physical abuse. When the girl fell unconscious, the accused and his mother assumed she was dead and threw her in a pond.
