West Bengal Governor C.V. Ananda Bose visited Malda district to meet the families of migrant workers who died in the Mizoram rail bridge collapse. The Governor interacted with the family members and handed over compensation cheques. Opposition parties criticized the West Bengal government for not providing compensation and failing to create job opportunities in the state.
