The Union home ministry has announced the launch of a helpline number for applicants of Indian citizenship under the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The helpline will provide assistance and information related to the new law, allowing applicants to make free calls from anywhere in the country. The helpline will be available from 8 am to 8 pm.
