The Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA) held its inaugural meeting to discuss proposals and make important decisions. The meeting focused on land acquisition for the establishment of a world-class industrial city in Jhansi, which is comparable to Noida. The project, part of the Bundelkhand Chief Minister Industrial Area Expansion and New Industrial Area Promotion Scheme, aims to acquire 35,000 acres of land and boost the upcoming defence corridor in the area.
Antara Senior Living, a subsidiary of the Max Group, has teamed up with Max Estates to create an integrated senior living facility in India. Antara plans to launch one project per year, with expansion into cities like Bangalore and Chennai. The company will focus on inter-generational projects where senior living is part of a larger complex. Antara will also offer assisted care services, health and wellness solutions, and care-at-home services.
While repairing a drain in Noida’s Jal Vayu Vihar, the oldest colony of the place, the portion of a 9-feet-tall wall collapsed on 12 workers, killing 4 instantly. The wall was reported to be fragile by a few of the now injured men to the contractor Sundar Yadav, however, was non-chalantly brushed aside. The contractor is on the run, while the sub-contractor Gul Mohammad was arrested; both booked under sections 304,337 and 338. Two of the deceased were minors.
