India is in the final stages of introducing a national policy to promote research and development in the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors, according to Union Minister Mandaviya. This policy aims to boost innovation, affordability, and accessibility of medical devices.
In continuation of the arrests of five participants involving Biocon Biologics and govt officials of CDSCO, made in June, CBI has brought out a charge sheet for the same. The charge sheet showcases suspecting WhatsApp exchanges between the said conduit Guljit Sethi and the arrested senior Praveen Kumar of Biologics. The pharmaceuticals giant has denied any involvement in the bribery case, stating that it has religiously followed product regulating rules of CDSCO, including approval of Insulin Aspart.
