JCB is currently using hydrogen-powered vehicles on a pilot basis for some of its off-road machines. While awaiting commercial deployment in the UK, these vehicles are set to become a reality and be mass-produced in the future.
The government will introduce the ‘Mera Bill Mera Adhikaar’ initiative to foster the practice of requesting bills for every purchase. The scheme will include two quarterly prizes worth Rs 1 crore each. The pilot phase will begin on September 1.
