A woman entrepreneur, who lost Rs 2.7 crore to cybercrooks, is set to get back Rs 1.7 crore in a few days after police traced and froze the miscreants’ bank accounts. Another Rs 30 lakh will also be returned to her soon. This is one of the highest sums being returned to a cybercrime victim in recent years, police said.

Two women in a live-in relationship were allegedly beaten by the brother of one of them in Rajkot. The incident occurred as they were living together against the wishes of their family members. One of the women filed a police complaint against the accused. The complaint states that the accused intercepted and forcefully took them to his house where he thrashed them with sticks and a pipe. Both women were rescued by Radhika’s mother and taken to the hospital where the complaint was filed.
