A 38-year-old man in Bengaluru copied the shirt-change technique used by the Rameshwaram Cafe bomber to mislead the police while robbing a gold chain. However, he was caught by the police after his scooter was captured on CCTV cameras.

A Goa court has extended the police custody of Suchana Seth, CEO of a startup, by five days for the alleged murder of her four-year-old son. Seth was brought before the Goa Children’s Court after her initial remand of six days expired. The Calangute Police requested the extension, stating that the investigation is still ongoing. Seth, aged 39, was arrested on January 8 in Chitradurga, Karnataka while travelling in a taxi with her son’s body concealed in a bag. She was subsequently brought to Goa.
