Eglin Air Force Base in Florida recently celebrated Native American Indian Heritage Month with the 35th Annual Thunderbird Intertribal Powwow. The powwow, which is the largest and longest running Air Force-sponsored powwow, showcased the rich heritage, history, art, and traditions of Native American and Alaska Native people from various tribes across the United States.
