Punjab National Bank (PNB) reported a net profit of Rs 3,010 crore in the March 2024 quarter, a three-fold increase compared to the year-ago period. The bank’s total income increased to Rs 32,361 crore, while net interest income rose to Rs 10,363 crore. PNB’s gross NPAs also reduced to 5.7% in March 2024 from 8.7% in March 2023.
