A session of both Houses of Parliament will be held from September 18-22 without Question Hour or private members’ business, according to notifications by the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariats. The session, which will have five sittings, has sparked speculation as it is rumored to be the last of the current Lok Sabha, and there is talk of shifting parliamentary operations to the new Parliament building. Additionally, a high-level committee has been set up to examine and recommend simultaneous polls.
