The Madhya Pradesh Congress plans to lodge a complaint with the Election Commission of India against Kailash Vijayvargiya, the BJP candidate for the Indore-1 Assembly seat, for not disclosing all the cases against him in his election nomination affidavit. The Congress accused the Indore District Magistrate and Returning Officer of protecting Vijayvargiya. Meanwhile, the nomination forms of two senior BJP leaders and one senior Congress leader were cleared after objections were first raised.
