Former Tamil Nadu Special DGP Rajesh Das has been dismissed by the Madras High Court for seeking exemption from surrendering in a sexual harassment case. Das, who was found guilty by a trial court and an appellate court, had been sentenced to three years of imprisonment. The court ruled that Das must surrender, go to jail, and then seek suspension of the sentence and bail during the revision process in the High Court.
