The 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, has arrived in Sikkim for a three-day visit after a 13-year gap. He will be imparting teachings on the ‘Thirty-Seven Practices of Bodhisattvas’ during his stay in the Himalayan state. Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang received him at the Libing army helipad. Monks from various monasteries and members of the exiled Tibetan Parliament were also present to greet him. Around 40,000 devotees are expected to attend the teachings at Paljor Stadium.
