An international watchdog has called on the United Nations Security Council to take action to protect civilians in Sudan’s Darfur region. The conflict in Darfur has displaced millions of people and left the country devastated. The RSF’s recent attack on the town of Ardamata has been condemned as an organized campaign of atrocities against the African Masalit tribe and other non-Arab groups.
