The Kerala High Court has issued notice to the Kerala government and Kerala University Students’ Union in response to a petition opposing the use of the term ‘Intifada’ for a youth festival. The petitioner argues that the term, historically used by Palestinians, is associated with terror groups like Hamas and is unsuitable for a youth event.
