Canada has temporarily halted discussions on a proposed trade treaty with India in order to evaluate the current situation. An official from Canada’s government revealed this news ahead of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s upcoming trip to India. Trade negotiations between the two countries have been complex and ongoing since 2010.
