A man in Bengaluru tricked the traffic police into issuing fines to his fellow villagers by posting CCTV footage of their traffic violations. The offenders were bombarded with challans amounting to Rs 5 lakh in fines before the police realized the scheme. The engineer responsible for the plan had land disputes with the villagers. After investigations, a complaint was filed against the engineer for misleading the traffic police.
