A former British intelligence worker has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for attempting to murder a US NSA employee. Joshua Bowles repeatedly stabbed the victim near the GCHQ base in Cheltenham. Bowles targeted the employee due to her association with the NSA and expressed his grievances against GCHQ. The attack was described as politically-motivated, and Bowles referred to himself as a terrorist. He will serve a minimum of 13 years in jail.
