The linking of Aadhaar details with voter identity cards has not yet started, according to a statement by Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal. The Election Commission has also confirmed that the linking of Aadhaar with EPIC has not yet begun. The time period to submit Form 6B for linking Aadhaar cards has been extended until March 31, 2024. The Election Laws (Amendment) Act, 2021 allows electors to provide Aadhaar numbers voluntarily for identity verification.
