Walt Disney’s streaming entertainment segment, which recorded a profit of $47 million in Q2, is expected to face a loss in Q3 due to the International Cricket Council (ICC) digital rights held by Disney+ Hotstar.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises has accused Walt Disney-owned Star India of violating the ICC TV rights agreement and has sought a refund of Rs 69 crore paid as part of the agreement.
