The process, part of the JCECE Lateral Entry counselling, aims to ensure a transparent, merit-based allocation of seats. Aspirants are advised to check all eligibility criteria and instructions carefully before submitting their choices. The counselling schedule, including deadlines for registration, choice locking, and seat allotment, has been published on the JCECEB portal. Candidates must log in to the official website and complete their choice filling within the specified window. Candidates must ensure all documents, like entrance exam scorecard, diploma/B.Sc. mark sheets, category certificates, and ID proofs, are uploaded accurately. Steps to register and fill choices include visiting jceceb.org.in, clicking on the “Online Counselling for Lateral Entry 2025” link, registering using the required credentials, filling in choices for colleges and engineering branches, and locking choices before the deadline. The board will release the seat allotment results after evaluating choices and eligibility. Candidates allotted a seat must download the allotment letter and report to the designated institute for admission and document verification. Remember that seats will be allotted strictly based on merit and category reservations.
