India's captain Shubman Gill created history in Test cricket by becoming the first batsman to score 250 and 150 in the same match. After his remarkable 267 in the first innings, Gill continued his stellar form with a brilliant 161 off just 162 balls in the second innings. India declared at 427-6, setting England a daunting target of 608 runs in the five-match series. Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep shined with the new ball, keeping the pressure on the hosts.
