Biographer Michael Wolff has alleged that former President Donald Trump considered pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell after her arrest, reportedly fearing what she feared what she might disclose. Maxwell is a close associate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Wolff's claims are outlined in his new book. The potential pardon was allegedly in response to the mounting legal issues faced by Maxwell in connection with her involvement in Epstein's activities. Trump, however, did not end up going through with the pardon. The allegations have stirred controversy and raised questions about Trump's motivations and potential attempts to shield himself from any damaging information Maxwell could reveal.
