Social media platform X has slashed subscription fees for account holders in India by up to 48%, offering reduced rates for premium, premium plus, and basic services. Premium account subscription fees for the mobile app have been decreased to Rs 470 from Rs 900 monthly. The subscribers of premium and premium-plus services at X receive a checkmark next to their name or ID. The company has also cut premium subscription fees for web accounts to Rs 427 from Rs 650. Basic subscribers now pay Rs 170 monthly, down from Rs 243.75, and Rs 1,700 annually, reduced from Rs 2,590.48. Premium plus subscription fees have dropped to Rs 2,570 on the web and Rs 3,000 for mobile users. Premium plus accounts are ad-free and offer additional features like article writing and SuperGrok with Grok 4.
