Isaiah Foskey Gets New NFL Chance with Bengals Under Coach Al Golden

September 10, 2025

Isaiah Foskey, a former second-round pick by the New Orleans Saints, is ready for a new NFL adventure! Recent reports from NFL expert Jordan Schultz tell us that Foskey, who already visited the Bears and Eagles, is now set to join the Cincinnati Bengals. Back in college, Foskey was a powerhouse at Notre Dame, topping the sack charts and showing his disruptive skills. But the NFL stage has been a tough crowd. With the Saints, Foskey struggled to get much game time and shockingly did not register a single sack over two years. He barely played 84 defensive snaps as a rookie and saw even less action in his second year, mainly sticking to special teams before being cut this year. The Bengals aren’t giving up on him yet, though. They have watched him closely all offseason and are betting on his potential. Why? Foskey’s final college season was under Bengals’ new defensive coordinator Al Golden. This reunion might be the magic touch Foskey needs to polish his technique as a pass rusher and work on his hand skills. Analysts believe he could grow into a solid “4-3 defensive end with future starting potential.” If Foskey makes it to the Bengals’ 53-man roster, he’ll join a tough rotation with Shemar Stewart, Joseph Ossai, Myles Murphy, and Trey Hendrickson—another former Saint. For Cincinnati, signing Foskey is a low-risk, high-reward gamble on an athlete who still has room to grow. For Foskey, it’s a brand-new beginning with a familiar coach who knows his style. Will this be the turning point that unleashes his true football talent? Only time will tell!
