A Bengaluru woman's excitement to furnish her new home turned into a nightmare when a furniture firm failed to deliver on promises. After paying Rs 5 lakh upfront, she faced delays and poor service. Despite legal action, the company refused to refund her. Eventually, a consumer commission ruled in her favor ordering the firm to refund the amount with interest and pay compensation for deficient service.
