Tension prevailed in the Malakpet area of Hyderabad on Tuesday morning as Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Chandu Nayak, 40, was shot dead during his morning walk at Shalivahana Nagar park. The unidentified assailant(s) opened fire on Nayak, causing fatal injuries. The police are scrutinizing CCTV footage to apprehend the culprit(s) and determine the motive behind the attack.
