Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh highlighted the primary cause of water supply issues in Delhi, attributing it to the outdated pipelines that have not been upgraded for decades. He expressed his commitment to revamping the city's water infrastructure within a year to address concerns of polluted water and ensure access to clean drinking water. Singh criticized the previous government for neglecting this essential need, emphasizing the current administration's focus on efficient and transparent execution of the new master plan. The Bharatiya Janata Party government aims to bring swift changes and has already initiated work on laying down new pipelines in various locations. Singh assured that the project would be completed within the set timelines, with stringent quality control measures to safeguard the delivery of safe drinking water to the residents of Delhi.
