Locals in Pernem, Goa united at a public meeting to demand the commissioning of the new Tuem hospital by Jan 26. The 'Tuem Hospital Action Committee' highlighted the need for the hospital to start full-fledged operations by Jan 26, 2026. The community also seeks job reservations for deserving Pernem locals and affiliation of the hospital with GMC.
