Farmley's Healthy Snacking Report 2025 uncovers significant shifts in Indian consumers' snacking preferences. The report indicates that 55% of consumers in India now prioritize preservative-free snacks, while 52% opt for eco-conscious packaging that combines health, taste, and functionality. This change in preferences is attributed to evolving lifestyle habits, with 45% of consumers favoring on-the-go formats like dry fruit desserts and energy bars. Furthermore, brand loyalty is undergoing a transformation, moving away from traditional players and towards quick commerce and influencer-driven impulse snacking, particularly popular among Gen Z and millennials. The report highlights that these younger demographics are twice as likely to order packaged snacks weekly compared to older consumers. The snacks market in India is witnessing a surge in regional players and direct-to-consumer brands, challenging the market share of established players. Farmley, a key player in this evolving market, reported a revenue of Rs 370 crore in FY 2024-25 and is expanding its presence across different platforms and formats.
