In a heart-wrenching accident in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara, five young individuals lost their lives when two speeding motorcycles collided head-on. The victims, three on one motorcycle and three on the other, crashed into each other on the Amarwara-Chourai road. Among the deceased were four individuals below the age of 20 and one 21-year-old. One person sustained severe injuries and is receiving medical care at the Chhindwara district hospital. The incident, which occurred late at night, left a community in mourning as the Amarwara police station informed that two individuals died on the spot, while the others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. In a separate unfortunate event, three individuals were killed, and 18 others sustained injuries when a private bus collided with a truck and plunged into a gorge in Shajapur.
