In a spicy turn of events, the Shamshabad District Task Force (DTF) launched a surprise sting on Thursday, August 7, catching two men from West Bengal red-handed along the Khajaguda - Nanakramguda road. Md. Noor Akbar and Md. Ajit Mohin, both originally from Malda in West Bengal, were nabbed with 66 grams of heroin loaded in their possession. This heroin is worth a whopping ₹2.5 lakh, a big catch for the Hyderabad police! The duo had come to the city claiming they were looking for jobs. But the truth hid in the shadows—they were actually here to sell heroin. Clever cover-up, but not clever enough! The officials promptly took the accused into custody, and the seized drugs were securely handed over to the Serlingampally excise station. The authorities have made it clear: no one will be allowed to spread poison in the city streets. "Further investigation is underway," said the police, hinting at deeper networks possibly lurking behind this bust. For now, Hyderabad breathes a little safer knowing these two were caught before they could flood the streets with deadly drugs.
