After that, the servers will go dark until the game’s full launch on October 10, 2025. Electronic Arts (EA) and DICE have confirmed this is your last big chance to dive into action before the real deal drops. The beta kicks off at 1 AM PST / 4 AM EST on August 14 and runs for a thrilling three days. Players can pre-load the game via their platform’s store to adjust settings, view challenges, and explore the main menu ready for battle. Best part? You don’t need to buy or pre-order anything to join the fun! What’s new in Weekend 2? Brace yourself for the fresh "Empire State" map set near the iconic Brooklyn Bridge! Plus, enjoy two exciting game modes — Squad Deathmatch and Rush. These join a strong lineup of eight maps and multiple modes from Weekend 1, offering plenty of juicy gameplay. DICE Game Designer Frederik Drabert shared a key update: "the second beta will run on the same build as the first," meaning any bugs or weapon balance quirks from Weekend 1 will stick around until after this final beta. Gamers can unlock exclusive, limited-time rewards during Weekend 2, which will be waiting in their accounts when Battlefield 6 officially launches. These goodies include the slick War Machine Vehicle Skin, the sharp Bat Company Dog Tag, and the powerful Striking Distance Weapon Package. Battlefield 6 brings back the four classic classes you love: Assault, Recon, Support, and Engineer. Fan-favorite modes like Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush make a comeback, along with faster battles in Team Deathmatch. Plus, the brand-new Escalation mode spices things up with tactical objectives. The game’s Tactical Destruction system lets the environment change mid-match, and the Kinesthetic Combat System makes moving feel smoother and more dynamic.
