Home Minister Amit Shah and other senior BJP leaders celebrated the victory of NDA in the Assam panchayat elections, labeling it as a historic mandate and a strong show of support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance. Amit Shah thanked the people of Assam for their overwhelming support, attributing the win to the PM's development-centered policies. The BJP-led NDA's triumph in the panchayat polls in Assam saw BJP and its ally party Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) securing 300 zila parishad seats and 1,436 Anchalik panchayat seats. Expressing gratitude for the trust shown by the people of Assam, BJP president J P Nadda stated that the mandate reflects the confidence in the development-oriented policies and the progress witnessed under PM Modi's leadership. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also praised the welfare-driven governance under the NDA and highlighted the sweeping victory in the Assam Panchayat Polls.
