Hold your breath for a moment! On a sunny Saturday afternoon, an Air India Express flight carrying 160 passengers from Bengaluru tried to land at Gwalior airport but missed the mark on the first go. The plane performed a "go-around," which means it flew up again to try landing safely once more. Good news – it landed smoothly and without any trouble the second time! Gwalior airport chief A K Goswami shared the scoop with PTI. He said, "The flight conducted a go-around followed by a safe and uneventful landing." He also reassured everyone by adding, "Technical staff examined the aircraft after landing and found no fault." So, it was all good with the plane! Passengers felt a quick jolt of panic when the plane didn’t land on the first try, but it passed quickly. Some folks even raised concerns with the airport and airline officials after getting off the plane, hoping to understand what happened. According to Goswami, a go-around is no big surprise and happens often in aviation. The Air India Express spokesperson explained, "Crew are trained to carry out a go-around as a precautionary measure when required," showing that safety is always the top priority. After the exciting moment at Gwalior, the plane took off again and reached Bengaluru safely, bringing this short drama to a calm and happy ending. Flying can have its twists, but trained crews and careful checks keep everyone safe every step of the way!
