CRPF Sends Strong Warning to Rahul Gandhi Over Security Protocol Breach During Foreign Trips

September 12, 2025

New Delhi: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has fired a serious warning shot at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. The CRPF says that Gandhi, the leader of the Opposition, is breaking important security rules during his visits abroad. According to sources, the CRPF’s VVIP security chief, Sunil June, wrote a letter on Wednesday pointing out that Gandhi is not taking his security cover "seriously". The letter reveals that Gandhi mostly travels abroad "without informing anyone," putting his security at risk. The CRPF named several trips where the rules were allegedly broken. These include visits to Italy from December 30 to January 9, Vietnam from March 12 to 17, Dubai in the UAE from April 17 to 23, Qatar from June 11 to 18, the UK from June 25 to July 6, and Malaysia from September 4 to 8. Why does this matter? Gandhi has been given Z+ category security with Advanced Security Liaison (ASL), one of the highest protective covers. The Yellow Book of CRPF clearly says that anyone under this protection must inform the CRPF at least 15 days before travelling abroad. But Gandhi didn’t follow this rule, said the letter. This breach has alarmed the CRPF, which is tasked with ensuring the safety of top leaders. The letter to Gandhi and Kharge stresses the importance of following security norms strictly so the government security machinery can plan properly and avoid any risks. In short, the CRPF wants Rahul Gandhi to start playing by the rules and show respect for the security system that protects him during his foreign adventures. Will Gandhi respond to this warning or continue his freewheeling travel style? Stay tuned for the next episode of this political-security drama!
