The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has announced a vibrant and important meeting called the Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak. This big event will take place in the colorful city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, from 5th to 7th September. According to the RSS, "Selected office bearers of 32 RSS-inspired organisations participate in this Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak." This yearly meeting moves around India each year — last time, it was held in Palakkad, Kerala. Who will be there? The top boss Mohan Bhagwat will lead the talks. He will be joined by General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale, several joint general secretaries called Sah Sarkaryavahs, and members of the National Executive team, including regional chiefs. On top of that, leaders from 32 connected groups will come together. These include the BJP, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Vanvasi Kalyan, and Seva Samiti. From the BJP camp, big names like national president JP Nadda, organisational head BL Santosh, and senior leaders Sunil Bansal, Shivprakash, Saudan Singh, and V Satish are likely to attend. What will they talk about? Each organisation will present its yearly report during the three-day event. They will review their work and discuss hot topics like the trade tariffs imposed by the United States. There is also buzzing speculation that the meeting may talk about who will become the next BJP president. Plus, they will plan special programmes for the RSS’s 100-year celebration. Before this grand meet, Mohan Bhagwat has a packed schedule! He will attend a special two-day event in Delhi at Vigyan Bhavan on 26th and 28th August. There, he will meet well-known people from many areas of life. On 28th August, Bhagwat will answer written questions from this event’s participants. Fun fact: The RSS held a similar gathering in Delhi back in September 2018 at the same place.
