Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the man known for his superhero-size muscles, stunned everyone at the Venice Film Festival. At 53, he looked much thinner than usual! How did he pull off this amazing change? Reports say he lost about 60 pounds for his latest role. Celebrity trainers Jill Charton and Katie Boyd say The Rock's secret was a strict new diet and exercise routine. "He probably ate lean proteins like chicken and white fish with veggies like broccoli," Boyd explained. He cut down on sugar and heavy carbs. This means no more huge cheat day pancake stacks that fans loved to see before, says the Daily Mail. But diet was only half the story. The Rock didn’t just stop lifting weights—he changed how he worked out. Instead of heavy weights for big muscles, he used lighter weights with more repetitions. This approach builds muscle endurance and burns more calories. Cardio became a big deal too—experts believe he did at least one hour every morning on an empty stomach, maybe running or biking. Add daily high-intensity training and you get a metabolism burning all day long! This smart combo helped him lose fat but keep his muscle shape, making him look lean and sharp, reports the Daily Mail. Boyd says this transformation might have taken around three months but no one knows the exact speed. Some skeptical fans wondered if drugs or steroids helped his quick change. Back in 2009, Johnson admitted using steroids briefly as a teen, but trainers say he achieved this new look naturally. Both experts also said weight loss drugs like Ozempic probably didn’t help because those drugs reduce appetite, and he needed plenty of energy for his tough workouts. "I bet you he is getting up in the morning and doing at least an hour of cardio first thing on an empty stomach," Boyd said. "And then working out five to six times a day doing high interval training and full body sessions," she added. Boyd also shared a fun memory: "When I was 18, I was an extra on one of his movies. He was thin back then too, much like how he looks now." She reminded fans that strong men like The Rock can change their bodies big time when they want. So why lose weight now? Johnson is preparing to play troubled UFC fighter Mark Kerr in the movie The Smashing Machine. He said the role challenges him creatively and physically, so he took it to push his limits. Fans might miss his big biceps, but trainers say his transformation proves that with diet and hard work, even huge bodies can become lean and fit. In Hollywood, The Rock's new look shows he’s ready to shine in many ways!
