The couple first went their separate ways in 2024, and on August 22, 2025, the divorce was confirmed by Jamie's spokesperson. Jamie Murray, 39 years old, is no stranger to the trophies, boasting seven Grand Slam doubles titles. He met Alejandra, a smart and graceful business student from Colombia, back in 2008. Love blossomed, and by 2010 the two tied the knot in a private ceremony near Jamie’s hometown of Dunblane, Scotland. Andy Murray, Jamie’s famous younger brother, stood as his best man. The couple has one daughter, Ava, born in 2022, who brings joy to their lives. Life for Jamie and Alejandra was a delicate balance between the UK and other countries, as Jamie thrived in his tennis career. Alejandra mostly kept away from the limelight, while Jamie dazzled courts worldwide. Jamie’s team told The Sun, “Jamie and Alejandra Murray divorced on August 22, 2025, having separated the previous year. As with any divorce, this is an extremely difficult time for Jamie and Alejandra and they would appreciate that their privacy is respected whilst they navigate their future and protect their family.” With the divorce behind him, Jamie has stepped into the dating scene and joined Raya, an exclusive members-only app popular with celebrities and athletes. On his profile, he describes himself as “an athlete who travels the world playing tennis.” One playful pic shows the two Murray brothers swinging rackets together. A close insider told The Sun, “It’s a really sad situation. They’re working hard to make it as amicable as possible between them at this stage. Jamie’s started to make moves towards meeting someone new by signing up to dating sites.” Meanwhile, Andy Murray has turned a new leaf too. After retiring from tennis post the 2024 Paris Olympics, Andy is now gearing up for regional golf qualifiers, eyeing a chance to play in the British Open.
