US President Donald Trump wrapped up his second state visit to the UK on a dramatic note. As he was leaving Britain, the helicopter that was taking him to Stansted Airport suddenly had a "minor hydraulic issue," reported the White House. The pilot had to make an unexpected landing at a nearby airfield. Luckily, no one got hurt! A backup helicopter quickly took Trump to Stansted, where he boarded Air Force One and flew back to Washington. But the real highlight of Trump’s UK trip wasn’t just the sky drama. During his visit, Trump and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer shook hands on a new "Technology Prosperity Deal." This deal promises to boost defense technologies and spark lots of innovation. Both leaders met with top global business leaders, suggesting this deal could create many new jobs. Trump expressed his heartfelt thanks, saying, "I'm sincerely grateful to Prime Minister Starmer and Lady Starmer for welcoming us to this very special home." He also said he was "tremendously thankful" for the grand welcome and spectacular events during his stay. The trip was smooth, avoiding any big fights over tricky trade or global issues. Instead, it focused on growing friendship and partnership between the US and the UK. As Trump said, the UK showed plenty of "pageantry and splendour," making his visit truly memorable.
