Three individuals tragically lost their lives in two separate road accidents that took place in Tenkasi and Tirunelveli districts on Sunday night. One of the accidents involved financier Chozhavan, 55, who was en route to Nagercoil on his bike. Unfortunately, he lost his life when another bike collided with his two-wheeler at the Kalingapatti intersection. In the same incident, K. Vinodh Kumar, 26, and M. Vignesh, 16, who were on a different bike, sustained severe injuries. Despite prompt action by the Veerakeralampudur police to rush them to the hospital, Vignesh succumbed to his injuries on the way, while Vinodh Kumar is currently receiving medical treatment. Another accident claimed the life of A. Nazir, 30, from Melapalayam, and left his friend M. Pathusha, 23, with serious injuries. The two were hit by an unidentified vehicle while riding a bike near Kozhumadai on Ambasamudram Road as they were returning from Vickramasingapuram. The Munneerpallam police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims during this difficult time.
