UN Solves Why Trump's Escalator Stopped, White House Demands Probe!

The United Nations cracked the mystery behind the sudden stop of an escalator when U.S. President Donald Trump stepped on during his visit! According to UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric, a safety mechanism activated when Trump's videographer, walking backwards to film the President and First Lady Melania Trump, accidentally triggered it. At exactly 9:50 am, just as the couple stepped on at the bottom, the escalator stopped to keep everyone safe. "The safety mechanism is designed to prevent people or objects accidentally being caught and stuck in or pulled into the gearing," Dujarric explained. Trump couldn't help but joke about it during his speech at the UN General Assembly, saying, "These are the two things I got from the United Nations - a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter," which got laughs from the crowd of 193 member nations. He also pointed out the teleprompter was acting up, adding, "I can only say that whoever's operating this teleprompter is in big trouble." But UN officials quickly clarified that the White House manages its own teleprompters, and they worked perfectly. Meanwhile, the White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was much more serious. After the incident, she warned on social media, "If someone at the U.N. intentionally stopped the escalator as the President and First Lady were stepping on, they need to be fired and investigated immediately." The White House hasn't yet commented on the UN's official findings. Trump also mentioned the mishaps during a private meeting with UN Chief Antonio Guterres, calling the visit "a little more exciting because of the escalator and the teleprompter. These things happen." This marked Trump’s first speech at the UN General Assembly in his second presidential term, and it turned out to be quite the memorable entrance!
