Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, faces backlash as a Danish construction company returns its entire fleet of Tesla vehicles due to Musk's political views. This decision reflects a growing concern among European consumers and businesses. Tscherning stated that they no longer wish to be associated with Tesla's brand values and political direction under Musk's leadership. Similarly, German pharmacy chain Rossmann sold off its Tesla fleet last year for similar reasons. Tesla's sales in Europe have witnessed a significant decline in the first two quarters of 2025, leading to possible store closures and layoffs in the region.
